does it go like this :

your squad makes attacks , your seargent makes his attacks seperately

or :
your squad makes attacks , all attacks that COULD have been made from the searg. becom energy

example : you make 10 hits , 4 wound . your searg has 2 attacks meaning that 2 wounds ignore armor .

Or you can roll the attacks for the normal marines 1st, then the power weapon attacks separately. You cannot just roll them all together and say "yeah these ones that hit are the power weapon and the ones that missed were normal attacks"

Your opponent distributes the wounds as he see's fit.
