Bulking up a Battlewagon

Hey Guys,

Does anyone remember a thread about increasing the length and width of an Ork BattleWagon using plasticard? Basically, it was just putting plastic-card between the model pieces to bulk it up. I can probably figure it out on my own.

Also, I would like to see some threads about building DeffRollas. I would like to use something sturdier than a toilet paper roll if at all possible.

Re:Bulking up a Battlewagon

I like the DeffRolla attached to that Link, but I'm not sure I'll have enough time to put that much work into it before this Tournament I plan on attending on April 18th.

My next question is, what's the easiest way to to seal off the hollow ends of whatever "tube" you're using? I'm thinking I'll use PVC pipe as the base, but I have no idea how I'm going to seal off the ends and attach it to the BattleWagon. I've heard of using a Compass tool and making a circle of the appropriate radius, but if I don't have a compass handy, I was wondering if there are any other easy ways to do this.

..And most importantly, I'm hoping there is some way to temporarily assemble my BattleWagon so I can use it for this tournament, then go back and do some modifications later.

Btw, I did find the threads I was looking for in regards to bulking up a BattleWagon, and go figure, they're on DA WAAAGH Forums, located here http://www.the-waaagh.com/forums/?showtopic=39575 and here http://www.the-waaagh.com/forums/?showtopic=37991

Re:Bulking up a Battlewagon

Some of the best ways Ive seen use trukks for parts and some plasticard, but even just using the trukk sides/armor bulks up the wagon a bit. Waht RTT are you doing on the 18th? As far as the deff rolla anything can be used, more inventive/custom ones always look better. Try simple dozer blades with ork knives cut and attached to the blade. I made one like this but also made one with a lenght of tube, bottle caps on both ends some plasti card added to the rolla with some plasticard blades attached here and there once painted it looked good. But some of the best Ive seen are weed wackers/wood chippers (a big box on front that sucks up models with a long chute blowing chunks of models out the end) etc...

Just curious....

Might there be a way to temporarily assemble a BattleWagon so it can be dis-assembled and "Bulked Up" at a later date?

Re:Bulking up a Battlewagon

Easy way to make circles?? To fit a piece of PVC?
Id suggest take the tube, put it on a piece of plasticard, draw around the pvc tube and presto, the perfect fit of plasticard.

Also you could use dirt cheap superglue. That stuff breaks apart very easy and you can just clean it up later. Or bluetac it all together
