Take the bolter, Chop off the very tip of the barrel.
Replace the tip with a lego Small radar dish. * 10 for 2.50 on ebay, cheaper if you can find a larger lot.*

Then get some cheap guitar strings, chop off the clip/ammo belt from the bolter. Run the guitar strings from the magazine, to the backpack.

Cheap and relatively easy to do.

Its pretty cheap. Every chaos player probably has a couple extra of the heads, and the guitar string is like $3 or less.
