Chaos Space Marine 2000 Points Army List

Hi everyone! This is my realy old army list what I have used. I posted my army list to here because I want to know is there something what Im have to chance. My friend says, that this army list is too good, but I don't believe it. So here it is!

HQ

Chaos Lord
- Bike
. Mark of Nurgle
- Power Weapon
- Melta Bombs
160 pts

Chaos Sorcerer
- Mark of Slaanehs
- Lash of Submission
- Melta Bombs
130 pts

Troops

8 Plague Marines
- Aspring Champion with power fist
- 2 Plasma Guns
254 pts

8 Noise Marines
- Noise Champion with Doom Siren, Power Weapon and Melta Bombs
- Blastmaster
- Rhino with twin-linked boltter
290 pts

8 Thousand Sons
- Aspring Sorcerer with Doombolt and Melta Bombs
259 pts

10 Khorne Berzerkers
- Skull Champion with power fist
- Rhino with twin-linked boltter
290 pts

Fast Attack

3 Chaos Bikers
- Biker Champion with power fist
- 2 melta guns
159 pts

Heavy Support

2 Obliterator Cults
150 pts

Vindicator
-Daemonic Possession
145 pts

2 Obliterator Cults
150 pts

I don't want to chance Obliterator Cults in the heavy support, because they looks cool. Also I don't want to add Daemon Prince, because believe this or not, chaos sorcerer always has been a killing machine (Has killed 5 veteran space marines and terminator library in the 4. edition alone without trouble!)

Looks like a good black legion list. You would probably be better off with a daemon prince instead of the nurgle biker lord, but if you are going to keep the lord, I would give him a daemon weapon. Also, you might want to try and find points for a rhino for the thousand sons.

Chaos Space Marine 2000 Points Army List

The general rule for Noise Marines is that if you are giving them a decked out Champ, they don't need the Blastmaster. Blastmaster tends to work better if you are guarding an objective or otherwise stationary. If you drop the Meltabombs on the Aspiring Sorcerer and the Lord (go with me) you can get a Rhino with an extra TL bolter for your TS. Then replace the Fist on the Biker Champ with Meltabombs and get your Lord a Daemon Weapon. Now you have a hidden anti-tank weapon and a Lord who will do something in CC (and murder MC's).

Right, let me see if I can get your plan straight. Bikes flank as the main force of TS, Zerkers, NM (Sorcerer rides with them) and Vindi push up the center. PM camp objectives and Oblits lay down fire. Am I right? TS should be backup objective guarders and NM should serve as your 3rd objective sitters. The list is solid dakka and choppy, I approve.

Chaos Space Marine 2000 Points Army List

Yeah, he should probably find a way to fit Sonic Blasters into the list. I don't know about Chosen though, I don't think he needs suicide flamer anti-horde with the Vindicator. I think the Thousand Sons will be much more usefull as secondary capturing units like I said above.

I love it when stuff doesn't translate well. Don't have to know a word to have a conversation!

I agree with Xav vindicators should be taken in multiples, should you decide to leave it at home you can take 2 three man oblit squads or 3 two man obliterator squads with the left over points.

Trust me assault weapons are always good especially with cc units because it allows you to softem up your opponent and because sonic blasters can fire as heavy 3, it makes noise marines really manouvurable (<-miten tää kirjoitetaa?) as they can hold their ground if the opponent seems hard to kill (like 20 orks or 32 hormagaunts)

Chaos Space Marine 2000 Points Army List

Oh, you might not know about Ubergrit yet. Marines have everything in their Wargear. CC weapons, Bolt Pistols and Boltguns (not to mention the grenades). You have 2 attacks in CC and Boltguns and Bolt Pistols to fire when you move into CC at all times, regardless of the modelling. Loyalist Space Marines don't get the CC weapon, so they only have 1 attack. The only Marines in the army that don't have all of that are the TS (no pistol or CCW) and KB (no bolter).
