				<title>2000 Pt. New IG List</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ So I have been browsing Dakka for a while and looking at a lot of the New <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> army rosters people have been posting and have yet to find a list that resembles mine. I have used it a few times already and it has been working like a real charm. You guys just tell me what you think!<br /> <br /> Company Command Squad<br />     Creed & Kell<br />     Medic & Vox<br />     Astropath<br />     2 Body Guards<br /> <br /> 1st Infantry Platoon<br />    Command Squad <br />       3 Plasma and Commander has Melta Bombs<br />    2 Infantry Squads<br />       Sergeant has Melta bombs<br />       Sniper rifles & vox<br /> <br /> 2 Las <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HWS</span> <br /> 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HWS</span><br /> 1 Mortar <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HWS</span><br /> <br /> 2nd Infantry Platoon<br />    Command Squad w/ Al'Rahem, krak grens, and 3 plasma<br />    2 Inf squads with krak grenades and a power weapon sergeant<br />    The entire platoon is in Chimeras and outflank<br /> <br /> Vet squad mounted in a Chimera<br />     Bastonne, Grenadiers, and all have Shotguns<br /> <br /> 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> with just the hull Las<br /> <br /> Where I play the tournaments are really based on objectives. With the old guard lists I found it difficult to actually capture the objectives. The purpose of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(544);'>AL</span>'Rahem and his guys is to be able to pack a pretty hard punch and still get objectives. Bastonne and his guys are not game winners, but rather a unit that I keep hidden until the right moment to run out, mop up, and take an objective.<br /> <br /> Tell me what you guys think, and if you have any suggestions!   <img src="/s/i/a/4eef2cc3548cc9844a491b22ad384546.gif" border="0"> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Well, first off, a slogan:<br /> <br /> <i><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span>: If you're not taking two <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQs</span>, you're doing it wrong!"</i><br /> <br /> CHQs are <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> 4, with 4 assault weapon slots, and the ability to issue orders. Compare a CHQ squad to a Vet. Squad with Bastogne: Sure, it's only 5 models, but it has eight wounds, and can issue its own order AND an extra order. The only reason not to give an infantry squad a cheap autocannon is because you plan to move it. Sniper Rifles, being a heavy weapon, suggest you plan to stand still. As does Carapace, since the Chimera can keep the passengers alive. Most hull-down positions deny you a field of fire for the hull weapon, anyway.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Excellent suggestions!<br /> <br /> First off I was totally unaware that two Command Platoons could be taken, silly thought I suppose!  <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"> <br /> I must agree with you on your point, drop the Vet Squad in the Chimera and replace it with the Command <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>, it is only 5 models but it does have 8 and for another 30 Pts. I can drop in a medic and give them all Feel no Pain for less than the Vet squad for sure.<br /> <br /> Again, excellent suggestion.<br /> <br /> <br /> As to your comment on the Plasma guns. With the old codex I ran 4 a squad, but now I am simply limited by point cost. But, if I make the changes to the Bastonne Vet squad, I can go back and add more.<br /> <br /> Good point on the Sniper Rifle, I like the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> suggestion. This goes the same for dropping the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span>'s in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HWS</span> to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HWS</span>.<br /> <br /> As for the Al'Rahem squad, I forgot to list that I have a vox and medic. Since his commands will be limited to the two squads he was with (as opposed to the normal <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HWS</span>) I felt behooved to take a vox caster.<br /> <br /> In reference to your last quoted comment. In the games I play I sometimes find myself in the posistion where the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(389);'>BC</span> on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> has no real juicy targets, or the enemy simply has a great deal of armor. Although it may sound finicky I am usually pretty good about the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LoS</span> on the hull Las, but I totally understand your point.<br /> <br /> Thanks for the help!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Two more quick things to ask that I forgot!<br /> <br /> First things first, how do you feel about medics?<br /> <br /> Second, if I do replace the Bastonne squad what am I arming my CHQ with? Their purpose is to mop up and light resistance and take an objective later in the game. So I am thinking 2 body guards and four guys with flamers? <br /> <br /> Just wondering if you have any thoughts on the matter.<br /> <br /> Thanks again!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ For 2000 points, you have almost no effective anti-tank.  You need melta squads and lots of them. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> is most effective when used with 4x Melta and "Bring it Down!"<br /> <br /> And Medics? Save the points for more guys/meltas/plasma.]]></description>
