Here is my termie captain. He is my first painted HQ model. I used some of the advice that has previously been given here to some effect, and I think he looks decent for table top. I tried my hand at highlighting, drybrushing, washing, etc.

epoxy gel glue, dries super strong - 3 bucks
Drill bit, 1/16th inch 1 buck

Just tighten the handle around the bit as far as it will go, and then slather the thing with the epoxy gel glue. Wait for it to cure for a day, and you have a nice little drill to use. Don't break the bit though, cuz you can't replace it.
