Its built with city fighting in mind (hence the demolisher, sentinels, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>MLs</span>, and shotgun vets). I was thinking of dropping the sentinels in favor of a chimera for the vets and a few more guardsmen. Or I could forgo the chimera for gunnery sergeant harker so they get infiltrate. My thinking in the command squad is that since they have <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> 4, give em the best weapons. I'm having some second thoughts about that and thinking about swapping the lascannon for an autocannon and dropping the plasma gun all together. If i made all of those switches I would give the special weapon squad with the grenade launcher 2 demos. <br /> <br /> What do you guys think?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ WEll drop all your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(380);'>GL</span>'s. I dont care if their modeled, they are terrible. Get flamers instead (fits cityfight too.) Comand squad wise, Most people use them bare with just a mortar and vox, and hide the squad while shouting out orders.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Grenade Launchers not worth it at all <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span> just like the old dex not worth it.<br /> <br /> 2 demos are not worth it could scatter in to your self. 				<description><![CDATA[ Something you could try is replacing your infantry squads with veterans.  take the vets with heavy weapons or assault weapons and give them camo cloaks.  Also ratlings would be a great idea.  Take advantage of the 3+ cover save.<br /> Also you have an opportunity to make some urban coloured cammo netting for tanks or sentinels.  I think hell hounds and/or bane wolfs are a must in city fight.<br /> <br /> I think that special weapon squads are a waste of points because platoon command squads do the same thing, with more weapons for cheaper; or vet squads take the demo charges on top of the other 3 special weapons they can take (but this would take away the option of camo cloaks)<br /> <br /> If you do go the route with vets you will be decent at hand to hand too with some power fists.<br /> <br /> p.s.<br /> Despite armoured sentinels sucking, I think they are a cool concept and would compliment the theme of the army well.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Platoon <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> Squad w 4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(380);'>GL</span> comes to 50 points.  Having a BS4 does wonders.  Has a chance to take down light armor.  Plus great against deep struck units that are bunched up.  Yes they are <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>Str</span> 3 when shooting frag.  But if you hit with a few of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(380);'>GLs</span>, you get to roll lots of dice to wound.  Granted you need 5s against T4. 				<description><![CDATA[ I have to say that guardsmen bearing heavy bolters isn't a good thing.  The first priority of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> is to imobilize the enemy and the second is to eliminate strong points of the army.  The autocannons you have in the other units would do a better job at these.  I find heavy bolters are only good against nids and arguably orks (if they only have AV10 truks).]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ H.bolters are good for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(381);'>ROF</span> anti-troop killyness. Grenade launchers are basically either upgrade lasguns.. more str3 hits per shot.. or they are for dealing with 4+ troops along with either h.bolters/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>'s. Str6 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>ap</span> 4 is a good weapon, esp @ 24". <br /> <br /> Flamers, while cool, have rubbish range. <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(373);'>Moo</span> & those plasma guns may not work well together as one can pick targets anywhere & the other can only pick targets within a 12/24" bubble. <br /> <br /> Either give the armored sentinels plasma cannons or keep the scatter laser. Autocannons work well with 'Bring it down' & 'Fire on my target'. A sentinel isnt the most ideal platform for a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>. <br /> <br /> Who said vox casters arent worth it? Sorry? The single most useful thing in the new <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> codex - Orders. The ability to re-roll <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(375);'>GBITF</span> isnt worth it? If you plan to combine those infantry squads often (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>id</span> recommend it) then only get a couple of cox casters. Otherwise get one per squad. Also - all of the command squads do with them aswell.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>Id</span> say this list needs a little bit more punch, ideally lascannons with the infantry. If you blow up that demolisher - you effectively remove the teeth of  this list.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I have to admit that over the years I have come to the opinion that all of the special and heavy weapons have their uses in a guard army (well except for mortars which consistently underperform).  <br /> <br /> Therefore <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span>'s and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(380);'>GL</span>'s can be quite effective (although my current personal favorite combo right now is for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>'s, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>'s, plasma guns, and meltaguns).<br /> <br /> Tallarn Commander]]></description>
