The reason I built the list like this is because I'm tired of getting shot to death by High Elves, and broken in combat by Brettonians.

That seems to be a common build, you get the best of both Nurgle and Khorne marks. I also like to run my Knights 6 wide, with their hittyness it's good to get all the attacks you can. If you're going to give the Marauder Horse flails you might want to think about MoK on them, they suddenly become a very hard hitting relatively cheap unit of fast cav, I haven't tried that combo yet but I plan to next game I play and in my mind it works very well (so take that for what it's worth).
