We both enjoyed the game, so we figured we'd build a fleet and then play some games. I got pretty excited about the amount of dakka orks can field, so I'm thinking about building an ork fleet. He's playing Chaos. Do you guys have any tips to offer? I'm pretty worried about the amount of guns he can field at long range. And I was initially attracted to the Ram-ships but I've decided that they'd probably be more useful in a bigger game. (We're planning on starting at 100pts)

I've been doing some research about orks and chaos in general, and Right now I'm planning on running

2 Kill Kroozers
3 Terror Kroozers
3 Ravagers

But that tops me off without a warboss. I'd like to put one in, but I've also heard that chaos is pretty weak against ordinance, so I don't wanna take out the escorts. Any advice?

agreed and watch out for dread claws i used to rape fleets with them , everyone tends to ignore assault boats till 10 of em hit your biggest ships and turn it into a floating coffin (no port/starbord/dorsal guns ,no engines fires all over etc)
they can be truly horrible
