Plan is to keep everyone together. Nova cannons are going to pair up on targets to really cripple them, forcing them to get in close where the dominator and the emperor will smash them to bits. not too bad.

Some improvements (imo):

Downgrade your admiral to a fleet admiral with Ld8. Since the Emperor provides +1Ld you'll be
effective at Ld9. With enemies at special orders you have a further +1 Ld.
If you roll Ld8-9 with your Emperor you can always add the admiral to a Lunar.

So 50pts saved effectively.

A Lunar with Nova: meh. I say take a Gothic. 20pts saved.

With those 70pts you could add 2 Swords for batteries. Handy against Eldar. Keep them at the back.

So your list could be:

Fleet Admiral
Emperor + sharks
Dominator
Gothic
Lunar
2x3 Cobra's
2 Swords

Alternatively:
Fleet Admiral
Emperor + sharks
Dominator
Dominator
Gothic
2x3 Cobra's

Also, I believe the +1 for the Emperor is only to the leadership you roll for it. I don't think it affects the admiral that's on board. That I think would be something like "+1 to leadership checks" or something.

But yeah, gotta have that admiral. The only real reason for the nova cannon is that I had 20 points to spare.

For any list over 750 points, an Admiral must be selected to lead it, unfortunately.

An admiral option is needed. Not the actual admiral. So a fleet admiral is sufficient.

Are swords really good in a pair like that?
