				<title>Orc Mechbiker list for 2000 points local tournament</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I am doing a 2000 list for our local tournament. There will be like 14 players, most of the players will use hardcore list, like lashprince, bikecouncil, new <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> and more.<br /> <br /> 2 Ork warboss on bike, atack squiq, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span>, cyborg body, boss pole.<br /> 2 unit of 8 nobbiker and 1 painboy: 3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>Pk</span>, 2 Big Choppa, 2 combiskorcha, 1 combirocket, waagh banner, boss pole, so all are different.<br /> 2 battlewagons with 'ard case, killerkannon, grotrigger, red paint and 2 big shoota.<br /> 1 looted wagon with boomgun.<br /> <br /> Total: 2005 points. We allowed 5 point more.<br /> <br /> I included battlewagons and looted wagon mainly for new <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> psykers. And this list has the idea to mainly charge opponent objectives and contest mine with the wagons. The other list I was thinking was taking out one nobbikers and warboss and include wazdakka, 2 units of 6 warbikers and 1 unit of deffcoptas. But my friend said nobbikers are just better than those small units of normal bikes. Want to know what does dakka community thinks.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yeah, the problem is I don't have any boys, I only own 46 warbikes and 5 deffcoptas. So I am using the wagons as screen only. And against other armies the wagon is just a distraction.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Ok I changed the list a little bit and went pretty well in the weekend, W4-L0 now. Fight against New <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span>, eldar lock biker list, dark angel and necrons.<br /> <br /> The new list is:<br /> <br /> 1 warboss with atack squiq, cybork body, bike, Power Klaw<br /> 1 warboss with atack squiq, cybork body, bike, Power Klaw<br /> 7 nobbikers and 1 painboy with 3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span>, 1 waagh banner, 1 bosspole, 2 big choppa, 2 combiskorcha<br /> 7 nobbikers and 1 painboy with 3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span>, 1 waagh banner, 1 bosspole, 2 big choppa, 2 combiskorcha<br /> 1 unit of 2 deffcoptas with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> rockit launcher<br /> 2 Battle waggon with 2 big shootas<br /> 2 unit of 10 lootas.<br /> <br /> It is a pretty standar nobbiker list, but putting the lootas inside the battlewagons really made <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> hard to kill and battlewagons makes cover for my bikes for 1 to 2 turns, enough for lootas to kill the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(449);'>PBS</span>, rest is just turboboosting and charge.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ wait unless you count a warboss as Wazdakka (the biker boss) don't you need 2 troop choices<br /> <br /> and 2 lootas + 2 battle wagons = 4 heavy support choices (only allowed 3) <br /> <br /> necrons are going to chew through armor (all shooting rending) so your going to have to make sure that you go first =P]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ deff, please dont comment unless you know an army and how it works.<br /> <br /> each warboss allows a single unit of nobz to be taken as troops.<br /> <br /> 2 wagons + a looted wagon = 3 heavy support (basic maths)<br /> <br /> <br /> they dont need armour saves as they all have 4+ cover saves due to the ork bike special rules.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> very high performance power list, but at 2k points you have invested too much into the nobz.<br /> you have 2 scoring units there, and most of the time they will be in combat so unable to fly off and grab objectives.<br /> <br /> also, horde orks would destroy them.<br /> bikernobz are good, but against massed attacks (like basic ork boyz) they tend to get chewed up pretty quickly.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ The list would get you into enemy lines and start causing trouble quickly but as JD stated you only have two scoring units. Which the player probably focus fire on to get rid of, send 1 troop to objective to hold while rest his army just keeps you busy to try and grab a easy victory.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ This is just an idea, but it may work <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> drop a nob biker from each unit and take 2+ units of gretchin.<br /> they may be easy to kill, but no one will be shooting them while there are nob bikers on the table.<br /> <br /> they can run off and hold objectives while the bikers slaughter most things.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Also, dropping 1 warboss and taking wazdakka means you have some anti-tank shooting too.<br /> you will lose a scoring unit of nobz, but they shouldnt be camping on objectives anyway.<br /> <br /> <br /> mix in those ideas and it should be effective.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> however, horde orks and gunline guard will still give alot of problems.<br /> pod marines could also be trouble once they start dropping all over the place.<br /> ironclads are enough to ruin your day since they will be hitting 1st with instant death no save attacks and normal initiative.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Once they are in cover and holding the objective they can be annoying to get rid of, in large units even more so.<br /> <br /> also, there wont be much fire comming thier way due to the nobz cruising around and taking most of the fire.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> also dont forget that gretchin are the most accurate things in the ork list <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0"><br /> they may not have much range or strength, but massed shooting still kills things.<br /> and they may even work out ok in combat <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for the replies, but maybe I have put it wrong. Those are two units of lootas, and not looted wagons, and they are elites. So my basic army is consist of 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>, 2 troops, 2 heavy, 2 elite and 1 fast.<br /> <br /> About the nobbikers, well they are not bad grabbing objectives. Against the eldar biker list, the eldar player was so scared of the 2 unit of lootas shooting them, they stay in a corner for 4 turns. Which is too late for him to grab objectives. And if you put objectives with 13 inches between them (you need to be more than 12), one unit of nobbiker can actually grab 2 and they are really hard to be killed when you turboboost and grab objective in the last turn.<br /> <br /> The idea of gretchin to grab objectives might actually work, maybe I can replace the unit of deffcoptas for two unit of gretchin. ]]></description>

Consider, against 2,000 points of other armies you are sure to face one or more of the following: <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> With Leman Russ squads, Eldar with Many Brite Lances and Dark Reapers to chew up the wagons and fliers. <br /> <br /> I just can't see this list holding up against 2,000 points of guard or any cunning marine/eldar/tau players. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Well actually the wagons and lootas are the main distraction. The idea is to let other army concentrate on taking them out and let my bikes to turboboost for 1 to 2 turns and then multiple charge tanks. Also I put wagons to screen my bikers if I face the new <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> list with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(449);'>PBS</span>. And lootas are there to shoot <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(449);'>PBS</span>, or let <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(449);'>PBS</span> concentrate on them and let my nobbikers charge for next turn.<br /> <br /> And I am still testing this list. May have more changes before the tournament starts.]]></description>
