Outflank says each unit rolls for which side of the board it comes in on.

Platoon says "it counts as a single Troops choice on the force organization chart when deploying, and is rolled for collectively when rolling for reserves."

Incidentally, Creed does not give a whole platoon outflank. Thats actually incorrect (I was reading another thread about this).
