				<title>Custom Characters </title>
				<description><![CDATA[ On a very boring afternoon, i thought about what would the allowance of stats be for a custom character, so i took all the stats (not saves) from each independent characters from the orks codex (Excluding upgrade ones)  averaged them out and came to a conclusion of 33.428 and rounded is 33 as a total, so i thought that for the save, you add the save number (E.G. If you wanted to have a 2+ save the total would be 35, and if it was a 6+,39, no save would be a 7+ so it would total 40).<br /> so what do you think? good idea? bad idea? no demeaning comments please.<br /> <br /> -SonsofLoki]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ To be honest, you've created an algorithm to generate a number that has no real value.<br /> <br /> Attempting to create a points system for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span> wouldn't be easy. The Studio has said they don't use one: everything is costed by 'feel' and play-testing. <br /> <br /> Some things to consider:<br /> * Why would saves add like that? A 2+ is better than a 6+, after all. Maybe start by charing the save subtracted from 7 so you're paying more for a better save.<br /> * Such a system is very vulnerable to min-maxing. (Most point-based systems liek this are, though.) For example, why give a melee-only character a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> higher than 0?<br /> * Is going from I1 to I2 as valuable as, say, I4 to I5?In your system, it is.<br /> <br /> If they're available somewhere, you might want to look for a version of the old Tyranid Monstrous Creature rules they did back in 3rd edition for a few ideas on how to handle some of this. ]]></description>

You name him. ( Lt. Dan, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(264);'>FTW</span>) <br /> then you give him a backstory. Lt Dan has a healthy case of the yellow stripe down his back, so he uses a double "Look out sir!"<br /> <br /> He can be given a hotshot weapon, or a boltgun, because he used to be a stormtrooper, and was quietly "Reassigned" to lead a penal platoon.<br /> <br /> He has 2 commisars assigned to his platoon, because he is being regarded by his superiors in a suspicious light, and because of it, he has a double roll against the Comisariate execution roll in the case thay lose a moral check.
