After doing an inventory of how many models I have left (too many) to assemble and paint. I've found that I've got 8 fire warriors left. I was looking through the codex and saw the pathfinder unit and was wondering if it's doable to use firewarriors as pathfinders? I'm thinking I could cut/sand off the armor plates on the legs as the pathfinders don't have those. Not sure what else it would take or if this would even be a do-able job, I think it'd just buy a blister of the ones with the rail rifle if I want to use those. I think not attaching the shoulder armor would be enough.

1: dont add the shoulder pad.
2: cut legs and possition them all in a running / crouching stance like the path finder models (fire warriors seem too static)
3: give them all carbines.
