I have taken the new IG codex release as an opportunity to remodel\paint my IG army that has been sitting and collecting dust for the last few years. As part of my repaint project, my tanks are getting a complete overhaul from the funky German yellow that they are, to a much slicker 3 tone cammo with weathering and stowage. The problem that I am running into is a lack of reference photos for the 3 tone ambush cammo that I have chosen to use.

So, I am putting the call out for some help. If you know of a website, photo gallery, of have pics of your own for reference, please post them here. I am specifically looking for the buff\reddish brown\greenish type with large dots (Italy or post Normandy WW2 I think), but any three tone patterns on IG tanks would work for reference too.

I tried looking on the Web first, but all I can seem to find is Cammo Tank tops, B+W tank pics, and places to BUY cammo outfits.

(for painting reference) I bit the bullet and started painting a Malcador in the cammo scheme. My airbrush skills are not on par with the tutorial, but it is a start. I figure that I am about 1\2 way finished with this model, I still need to add more weathering\mud\paint chips etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

(for painting reference) lol. On my next one I am going to not thin the paint so much and see if that gives me a crisper edge. I might even make some rough templates and see how much that changes things.

Finished the tank except for a matt coat of sealant though.. here is the final product.
