				<description><![CDATA[ In my army so far is...<br /> <br /> 3 units of 30 Choppa and Slugga boyz (led by a a Nob With a Power klaw and wielding a Bosspole.)<br /> 2 Big Meks with a Kustom Force Field<br /> 2 Deff Dreads with a Big Shoota and a Skorcha<br /> 9 Killa kans armed with Rokkits<br /> <br /> My Idea was to arm 2 units of 5 deffkoptas with "Big Bomms" and perform a 1st turn "Carpet Bombing". in order to do this I will have to deploy them on the front line, then scout 12", followed by a 24" Turbo boost to the opposite end of the table... The Result is 10 large templates at S5 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>Ap</span> 5 on my opponents side of the table that only scatter <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(24);'>D6</span>"....<br /> <br /> For the last 50 points, I thought about either giving a Deffkopta in each unit (2 total) a Buzz Saw so they can also go after a tank's rear armor with S7 or upgrading the 9 killa kans from Rokkit Launchas to Kustom Mega Blast, thus denying feel no Pain and 2+ saves... with the last 5 points I guess I would just give either a Mek or a Nob Heavy Armour and that unit will lead the charge... ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ How about:<br /> <br /> 15 kommandos: 2 burnas, snikrot - 265<br /> 15 kommandos: 2 burnas, nob, klaw, bosspole - 220<br /> <br /> <br /> Thats 485 points used on 2 units that add some seriously worring abilities to your army <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Or:<br /> <br /> <br /> 12 lootas - 180<br /> 12 lootas - 180<br /> 13 lootas - 195<br /> <br /> 5 points over, but adds some pretty decent fire power to your army.<br /> <br /> i would also suggest swapping out the weapons on the kanz.<br /> giving 3 grotzookas (anti-infantry) and 3 kustom mega blastas (anti-tank / termie) also, the other 3 can be either of those 2.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Koptas are nice, but they tend to die quickly, and if your playing a guard player he will shoot those down pertty quick to make sure it doesent happen.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ With new guard out, things have changed... I can no laonger assault things within the 12" range of Iron Hand Strakken as even the lowly Conscripts take out boyz with their S4 I4 attacks...<br /> <br /> The Main worry I have for Lootas is the relatively low number of troops to feed Mob Rule and their tendency to run after taking casualties.... if you include a 4+save from cover, my own troops, and "Incoming!" Troops have a 2+ cover save... If the opponent is smart he will take out my Lootas with one barrage of Ordinance fire or 80 Lasgun shots from "First Rank Fire! Second Rank Fire!"<br /> <br /> As for Snikrot and a squad of Kommandos, I feel adding boys does not help my issue...<br /> <br /> But with the Koptas I can hold a 4+ cover save from Turbo-boosting which will make them survive and require 96 lasgun shots or 6-7 Plasma shots to make a kopta squad take a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>LD</span> test ,<br /> <br /> I can also force some leadership test on my opponent's infantry and cause more to run than he can regroup...]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yes they can turboost.<br /> <br /> Your own troops can't provide the enemy a coversave, its one of the exceptions in the coversave section.<br /> <br /> I still think Sinkrot and 2 burnas in a komandoz squad is a very good use of points - expecially if they are a maxed out unit.  Even if he only kills 1 thing, your enemy probably has moved toward you and is not sitting on the table edge.  If not him then the lootas and a squad of deffkoptas.<br /> <br /> I wouldn't worry too much about the flashlights killing your koptas.  I would worry about the concentrated anti-tank fire that comes their way when your opponent realizes that they are your major anti-tank threat.]]></description>

I wonder if this makes Deffkoptas with Twin-linked Rokkits and a single buzzsaw could make for a potent first turn killer of tanks... that is Start on the 12" line, Turboboost on the scout move, move 12" fire behind a tank where the armor is 10-11 with 5-10 S8 hits.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Hm, maybe Lootas would be better in general, but when you talk about the massed <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> infantry I just can't help but feel like busting out some burna boyz.. <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> Worth a try maybe, especially since they can take a bunch of meks and help with dread repairs.<br /> <br /> EDIT: An alternative solution would be to run the Koptas once, and then have him retire his Infantry army in favour of mech.. which your koptas work just as well vs.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ were are talking about Deff-Bombers, a 50 point model with 2 wounds, Twin-linked Big shoota, and drops a single LARGE blast template that is S5 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>ap</span> 5, no cover saves... <br /> <br /> I do not think they are very effective vs a Mech list unless I gave 1 kopta in each unit a Buzz Saw or cut my numbers down and have Twin linked Rokkits...<br /> <br /> Then again 15 S5 shots that hit 5 out of 9 times against rear armor of 10 will glance a few times... plus throw in the assault and you are looking at 15 S5 against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>AV</span> 10, and 15 S4 hits against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>AV</span> 10... might just kill some light-medium vehicles... or 3 S7 attacks against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>AV</span> 10 might just do it...]]></description>
