Enchanced come with S5 and I4.Both are Fearless, T5 3+. Weapon load out are nearly the same for assualt roles.  For my role of objector holding, give me the Plagues any day of the week. If you are need a beat stick in combat, get one... Chaos has lots of other options.<br /> <br /> <font color='red'>Enhanced <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> w/ Mark of Khorne Vrs Zergs(10 man unit comparison)</font><br /> For the initial assualt, zergs have the Enchanced marines. WS5 + furious charge is better than S5 all the time. Same number of attacks. If you are going into a protracted that you think may last more than 1 or 2 rounds, the enchanced warrior start to pull through quicker... but again WS5 is a big deal.  An very interesting unit, honestly if you are single assualt smashing unit, get the zergs. If you want to out class 90% of troops, Enhanced + Khorne is no joke.<br /> <br /> <font color='violet'>Enhanced <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> w/ Mark of Slannesh Vrs Noise</font><br /> unless you are running with sonic weapons, 100% of the time pick the Enhaced + slaanesh. S5 I5 is baaad News. Not as many attacks as Khorne (don't forget <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> has dual weapons all the time) , but you will go first! Oh, and it's cheap! This combination makes some of the "advancing troops" in the game. I like it because you can take the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> weapon loadout while still having the I5. <br /> <br /> <font color='blue'>Enhanced <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> w/ Mark of Tzeentch Vrs T Sons</font><br /> These units perform different roles. TSons stand off with S&P AP3 bolters and Enhanced get close.  It's expensive... no thanks, but you may like them.<br /> <br /> <br /> *** Don't forget Bile didn't stop at enhancing your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> troop sqauds, you can also enhance Choosen, Havoks, and Bikers (all under the same <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> entery in the codex)<br />  <br /> funny combos - Choose + Slannesh + <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> weapons. Load up in a heavy support Land Raider and unleash. S5 I5 ligting claws all the time!<br /> Bikers + Khorne. I like this unit because it's supprizes the heck out enemy. Lots of attacks. Very fun against orks<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

WS5 S5 I5 clears out assualts very quickly and allows for higher potential of eliminating special troopers. It all comes down to how you are going to use them.<br /> <br /> S5 ROCKS in combat and fearless <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> is amazing - This is why anyone would use Bile. I personally like enchaced w/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(101);'>MoS</span> better than <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(99);'>MoK</span>. Sometime you want to shoot up the enemy with bolters to thin them out, why pay for the extra attack if you aren't in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>. I5 means you are going to swing against every Troop except steallers... whom you are shooting bolters at anyway. <br /> <br /> An effective unit, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> + Enhanced + <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(101);'>MoS</span>.  2 Flamers, Champ combi flamer Fist.  Rhino. <br /> 3 flamers shooting at a single unit does make a mess. Tri Flame, charge, kill most everything with lower return hits. <br /> <br /> Oh, Don't forget S4+1 Power fist at S9 against vechicles - pretty cool for killing armour. <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

In my Pure World Eaters army, the 'zerkers always get stuck banging on a rhino/raider/whatever and then the troops inside laugh and shoot them to death.  Also, the 'zerkers can only reach out and touch something 12" away with pistols, where sometimes it's more advantageous to rapid fire bolters.<br /> <br /> I'm switching to Enhanced Marines with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(99);'>MoK</span> to get the same punch, but also have the flexibility to bring the right weapons for the job.  <br /> <br /> I really miss the WS5 Powerfist though.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I use units of 10 with mark of khorne, powerfist,  and double meltas in rhinos.  Spam at least 3 such units, preferably 4 or 5.   I placed in 'ard boyz with such an army.<br /> <br /> They're better than most cult marines because they're cheaper and can take dual melta.   They're better than possessed or chosen because they are a scoring unit.  They're better than <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> because they are fearless.<br /> <br /> And if you get the "berzerk rage" result, your power fist does become str10 for that squad, which is great for offing land raiders and ironclads.<br /> <br /> Supplement with a unit of plague marines (which also gives bile a place to hide since he can't fit in a rhino with his enhanced marines) so that you have a unit you can count on to all be there and camp your home objective, and you're ready to rock.<br /> <br /> Darkhound: the enhancing other kinds of "Chaos Marines" unit isn't in any <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(36);'>FAQ</span> right now.  Personally I wouldn't try it at a tournament and risk getting told no.  Also it kind of defeats the purpose since the great advantage of enhanced <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> units is that they're *scoring.*]]></description>

I used to be of the opinion that the +1 was added to the base, but it's not. It's just +1 Strength for the entire game. So it's like looking for a bonus when you check strength and going "Add plus one for Enhanced Marines". ]]></description>
