Force Weapons in the BRB invoke the Instant Death special rule as outlined within the same BRB. Grand Master Nemesis Force Weapons and Force Weapons according to the Codex: Daemonhunters cause the opponent to be slain outright, no matter how many wounds it has. Yes. They do not use the BRB rules, they use their own, much in the same way they use their own Assault Cannon rules.
