				<title>'Ard Boyz IG Heavy Support help</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ While fiddeling with my list for the 'Ard Boyz I have found myself at an impass. I've been trying to organize my heavy support choices but I can't quite find a combo I'm happy with so I thought I'd ask dakka's thoughts. So far here are the combos I've come up with so far.<br /> <br /> 1) Lotsa firepower, but sadly no standard <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span>'s for long range firepower, something I just feel weird without.<br /> <br /> 2x Leman Russ Demolishers (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>, PCSponsons)<br /> 1x Leman Russ Vanquisher (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>)<br /> 2x Griffons<br /> <br /> 2) More russ hulls, and more spare points, but not enough to squeeze in another russ<br /> <br /> 2x Leman Russes (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span>)<br /> 1x Leman Russ Vanquisher (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>)<br /> 1x Leman Russ Demolisher (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>, PCSponsons)<br /> <br /> Now in the last one I could spend some points on upgrading the russes to demolisher but I like the stock russ specifically for its range.<br /> <br /> 3) Maximized use of points, inefficiant deployment<br /> <br /> 1xDemolisher (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>, PCSponsons)<br /> w/ 2x Leman Russes (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span>)<br /> 1x Vanquisher (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>)<br /> 1xGriffon<br /> <br /> I know it's more pieplates but I just don't think that the griffon is useful enough to take if I have to squadron up all three of my non-vanquisher russes.<br /> <br /> Well that's the situation so what do you all think? And I know some of you will tell me to to take those new eradicators but dangit there's just something wonderful about S10 ordnance that 3x S7 blasts just can't match.<br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> I pose this question to the community as well. Assuming I ended up with only taking 3 russes (1 Stock w/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>, 1 Vanq w/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>, & 1 Demolisher w/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PCS</span>) what would be the ideal way to divide them amongst 2 squadrons? I would think that putting the Stock Russ with the Demolisher would be the way to go but I wanted to hear ideas.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for the replies guys. I've been using a vanquisher for some time now without pask and find that it works very well still in its intended role of anti-armor 14 hunting. I've looked at and considered pask but I find that I keep my vanquisher moving pretty constantly and as such would not be able to take advantage of his extra rule and while hitting on a 3+ would be nice I just can't justify the points for it.]]></description>
