				<description><![CDATA[ Basilisks can fire directly OR inderectly, as they are an Ordnance Barrage weapon.<br /> <br /> However, they can't fire at enemy within 36" which may well limit their use in Planetstrike. This does mean you can shoot over small buildings and hills. It is not used in the rules for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(146);'>WH40k</span>. The closest you get is barrage. The phrase "direct fire" is used, but you should not infer the existence of indirect fire from it.<br /> <br /> Direct fire really does work as you described.<br /> <br /> Barrage weapons can fire at targets outside of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span>, but it is only when they use this ability that they do not subtract their <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> from the scatter dice. When they have <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span> they subtract <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> just like any other blast weapon. Barrage weapons are still considered barrage weapons when they are firing at targets within <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span>.<br /> ]]></description>
