				<description><![CDATA[ im not the most experienced player but what i do know is that 5th edition has A LOT of mech armies and you will ned <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span>'s to really deal with them<br /> Rokkits on deffkoptaz sounds like a solution but i think there fragile and will miss everytime you dont need them to<br /> if your planning on being the assualting force than be the assualting force, i say lose the big shoota's, if you plan on assualting they should have sluggas and choppaz and maybe a rokkit or 2 if you have leftover points (they wont hit often but when it does hit it hurts)<br /> At 500 points i break my boyz up so they all fit in trukks and have a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> covering them all, your boyz will get to the line fast although i have no idea what your chaos friend is bringing i do know that when you have orks in your frontyard your distracted from the enemy far away for the time being.<br /> From what i learned, pick something you want your Orks to do and stick with it, if you want to Assault then you dont need lootaz and if your shooty you can swap all your Boyz sluggas for shootas and so on and so forth<br /> <br /> OH and i thought you had to be 500 points or below? some people would let you get away with 502 but some people are pretty 'ard core so beware of that  <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Don't bother with rokkits and big shootas in the assault squad.  They will just slow you down.  Better to just run and assault than stop and shoot with a choppy ork squad.  Also they made Kans for shootin.  I'd say drop the deffkoptas and pick up some killakan.  They shoot straighter and live longer in my experience.  <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PKs</span> are a good redundant tank killer though, and it will be hard to get the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> nob off the table if it's burried under a ton of boyz.  It's probably worth spending the points to get those.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Let us know how that plays out, personally i never have a Nob without a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> you just cant rely on rokkits hitting the broad side of a barn.<br /> That being said if you really want a kombi weapon on your warboss i would advise a shoota/scorcha, you only have ONE shot with that 2nd weapon, at least the skorcha lets you drop a template so you KNOW you hit something (even more than 1 model with a flame template)]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ You hate kans?  I guess we come from two different worlds cuz I run a kan/deff dread army.  With the grot <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> it's your best hope of hitting with rokkits, and they are well suited to the foot infantry army you are posting.  I'm with NeedsMoreDakka.  I've never placed a nob with the boyz unless he had a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span>, but I'm not gonna pretend that my way is the best way.  I just like that Anti-tank/anti-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQ</span> option better than ork launched rokkit, who never seem to hit when you want em to with their <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> of 2.]]></description>

Seriously you might want to rethink your approach to the cans <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0"> However I guess you could leave it this way although the rokkits will have a hard time hitting (luckily they are twin linked but still they're not going to pwn). I would advise you to split them into 3 squads. Better target selection, more manueverability, they are harder to be shot down.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I agree with the others comments regarding Power Klaws and at only 17 boys per mob your troops will die FAST. But i don't want to beat this horse anymore so on to new constructive critique:<br /> <br /> Deffkoptas. If you insist on running 3 Deffkoptas in your 500 pt list (A folly <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(71);'>IMHO</span>, I would reduce it to 1 or at least 2) Then at least break up the unit into 3 different mobs of 1 Kopta. There are a number of reasons for this as I'll explain (Or I should say repeat, I really need to macro this following tutorial. [ okay, i did cut and paste my advice from another thread <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"> ] )<br /> <br /> Deffkoptas are decent one-trick ponies but split them up. Fielding them as one unit begs for death. If one dies you're also making morale saves on <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>Ld</span>. 7. There are a number of advantages to breaking them up: <br /> <br /> 1. As 3 different units they can acquire 3 different targets (great for mech vet to crack open chimeras before they move). <br /> <br /> 2. As 3 different units if you try to outflank you tripple your chances of a kopta coming on the board earlier. <br /> <br /> 3. The morale issue stated above. As a unit of 1 if 1 dies you don;t have to worry about morale. <br /> <br /> 4. more for the enemy to shoot (split fire). one squad of marines can take out one unit of 3 deffkoptas. However, one squad of marines can't take out 3 units of one deffkoptas (it would be splitting their fire). This makes it more of a challange for the enemy in target aquisition - do they take out hte piddly little kopta threatening side armor of the pred or shoot at the boys to whittle them down a little before they charge. <br /> <br /> That's my food for thought.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ How about you shrink to 1 deffkopta and replace the other two koptas with trucks for the boyz with a rokkit launcher mount.  You keep the rokkits, and you lose the weakness of the 3 deffkopta squad.  After dismounting the boyz the truck could even go after a separate target.  Shrink the boyz down to 12 (so they can ride) and delete the nob from the boyz on the warboss truck and give the other squad's nob a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> and bosspole.  Spend the extra points to tool up the trucks (boarding plank, reinforced ram, wrecking ball). This build would probably benefit from a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> more than a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> warboss though.<br /> <br /> Another idea is to replace two deffkoptas with a Kannon team or Zapp gun team as a heavy choice.  I think you'll find they will be more effective against armor than the deffkoptas.  Though this idea is weak against outflanking/deep striking.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I concur with replacing a kopta or 2 with Kannon but really you should get more boys.<br /> <br /> 3 Koptas are going to cost you a LOT of points when they die and are almost certain not to make up their points at 500 pts. At best the three can kill 3 marines which will take out the entire squad in one round of shooting. The three Koptas are really a bad idea any way you look at it.<br /> <br /> With those restrictions I strongly advise getting rid of 2 and bolstering your boy mobs. Use the 1 kopter to try and outflank and vehicle hunt, especially since at 500 pts. and those tourney restrictions the enemy will only have 1 vehicle, unless they are transports.<br /> ]]></description>
