				<description><![CDATA[  I have been thinking about this for a while, especially when I am finding myself unable to push entrenched units off objectives. What do you think of this:<br /> <br /> -<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>-<br /> <br /> Vulkan He'stan = 190<br /> <br /> Space Marine Captain w/ Artificer Armor, Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield, Digital Weapons = 170<br /> <br /> Command Squad with:<br /> <br /> Apothecary<br /> Company Standard w/ Storm Shield<br /> Veteran w/ Storm Shield and Lightning Claw<br /> Veteran w/ Meltagun<br /> Veteran w/ Meltagun<br /> <br /> = 195<br /> <br /> 555 Points Total, not including the Land Raider they would ride in.<br /> <br /> I am thinking of putting 8 Assault Terminators in a second Raider.<br /> <br /> So is an Army built around Vulkan, a Captain, a Command Squad, Assault Terminators in two Land Raiders Viable?<br /> <br /> Vulkan and Company = 555<br /> 8 Assault Terminators = 320<br /> Land Raider Redeemer w/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span> = 250<br /> Land Raider Crusader w/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span> = 260<br /> <br /> That's a whopping 1385 and doesn't leave much room for anything else.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Vulkan is built to have a 5x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> Terminator 'Command Squad' in a Landraider Redeemer/Crusader (don't forget the Multi-Melta). considering it is +5 points and gets his complete benefits, I just don't think I can justify it.<br /> <br /> On another note, can he even take a command squad? I don't have the codex handy, but I don't think he is considered a Chapter Master or Captain.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ the problem with the idea is what does that command squad do that a 5 man <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>th</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>ss</span> terminator squad for 5 points more doesnt do?  Especially if the point is to drive units off objectives.<br /> <br /> For 1305 you could run something like<br /> <br /> Vulkan + 5 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>th</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>ss</span> termies in redeemer<br /> <br /> Cassius + 3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> termies/4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>th</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>ss</span> termies in crusader<br /> <br /> you save 80 points and probably hit harder.  Both squads have a flamer for clearing out hordes and will hit hard as nails in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span><br /> <br /> Alternatively if you just wanna beat the piss out of something replace cassius with lysander for 5 points less than what you had.  Lysander is a beast.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ As everyone pointed out, keep it simple. Assault termies is all you need. I have found that <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>lrc</span> is better than <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(475);'>lrr</span>. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(274);'>Ymmv</span>.]]></description>
