i basically need ideas on what colours, what camoflague pattern and what conversion work if any i should use

Or reverse the scheme, to show that they belong to the chapter, but are not of it.

Or alternately, go to town and do whatever colours you want, and use a picture of the space marine above as the symbol on their shoulder pads.

Since they are guard, I would think that a light camo pattern would be appropriate. If you go with white armour and black fatigues, get a light gret mottling on the white, and a dark grey on the fatigues?
