would this work as a gaming table?

I'm wondering what the consensus is on these fold-up tables.
http://www.lidl.ie/ie/home.nsf/pages/c.o.20090730.p.Decorating_Tables_Set

I was thinking of setting them up and then covering them with a gaming mat or something. They wouldn't be quite 4'x6' but close.

Its better if you get one of them, then put a board over the top (with the folds and plastic ridges around the table it can be awkward for gaming purposes), and tbf 3 pieces of chipboard (2ft by 4ft each) from Wickes cost me £12 so its worth it.

JUst a thought.

Would it work? Yes it would.
But you can make a table that works just as well, for less then that out of plywood. Ive seen people use insulating foam for tables.
