    Paint 40% of the model and highlight it
    Give the whole thing a wash

    The battle damage on the tau part :

    I cut out two major "gun holes"(they dont go all the way through) , drybrushed the Deneb Stone area with 2 layers of skull white(after washing it) , and drybrushed the silver with Tin Bits , then gave it all a 3 washes of Devlan mud for a dirty look

I give it 12/10 because the stealth Ven dred is so well painted that i dont think any photo shop or cinematic special effect can beat that.
