Im not a fantasy player, so I dont really keep up with the goings on in WHFB, so this might be a stupid question, but whatever happened to Brettonians? Are they just a really unpopular army choice? And because they are preatty point and click the tactics used to beat them are pretty simple.

We have 15-20 tourneys in Brisbane and the surrounding area each year and I can't recall there ever not being a bretonnian player in any of them. Usually 1 in 10 players will be brets

Brets don't really need tactics, or strategies. Hit a unit, move on. The Point and Click style they use can sometimes draw away players.

I don't think anyone is into painting Brets and that's why you don't see that many armies compared to others. Not only that, as other people said, Brets are both difficult and tedious to paint and have an old army book. Large charge range. Doesent sound like a bad idea in practice.

im not going to pasint each knight totally individualistic. But swap and change from about 4 main colours and just have a nicely styled sort of army based on one fortress/ city

However i am still looking forward to playing. if they are as "point and click" as they sound then it'll be a good break in army for me.
