I've got the vindicator parts in my bitsbox; I've just got to figure out the best way to fit the dozer blade <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"><br /> That <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span> datasheet page is actually really interesting, and I'm glad they don't make you buy a big book with them in; I just wish they were all on there, like the fabled Thunderfire cannon strategem datasheet.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yet again whoever designs new land raider patterns has no idea how to play the game.. the ares, that horrible whirlwind one and the promethesus are all garbage<br /> <br /> Ordnance on a tank with FOUR weapons ISNT USEFUL .. Yet the same mistake keeps happening<br /> <br /> Even worse is ordnance barrage  on a 250 pt tank.. or wow 4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HBs</span>.. Its supposed to be a command tank yet has NO command tank abilities and loses its hull mounted weapon for a comm unit with no mention in the rules.. <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span> or bust!]]></description>

The Promethius is awesome, I have one and I love to see Ork players cry when I tell them I have 12 twin-linked <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span> shots; or I can move 12 inches and still get 6 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span> shots <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0">  Plus the advanced comms let you re-roll one reserve roll per turn (though I will be building one in the future with no advanced comms but with a hull mounted <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span>)<br /> <br /> Besides, with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(470);'>POTMS</span> surely you can shoot the demolisher cannon whenever as there is nothing in the rules saying that the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(470);'>POTMS</span> doesn't affect barrage weapons  <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<title>Land Raider Ares</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Prometheus is an awesome tank, I have one for my Space Wolves.. Been using it for a few years now.<br /> As an aside, the Ares is a 4th Ed tank that was designed by a player/staffer and is not official <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span>.<br /> <br /> It was more of an idea with fluff attached.. If I could afford to waste the kits, I'd build one for the fun of it. <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Prometheus is *passable* but its not better than a crusader is the point :p The other point is its a command tank with no command tank abilities.  The reason it does not have a turret weapon is because it has a comm relay.. again it has no rules for such a comm relay.  It fills the same role as a crusader, yet has less transport capacity for some odd reason despite also having less weapons<br /> <br /> Its also more expensive than a crusader.   Yes its not totally worthless like the hyperios (remembered the name) or the ares but its still not a crusader<br /> <br /> If the prometheus had any command tank abilities I would give it a thumbs up but whoever designed it forgot about the entire reason it exists<br /> ]]></description>
