New WHFB rule mor missile troops in combat.

I thought of a rule that would perhaps make WHFB a bit more realistic.
I find it annoying that missile troops are just as good in CC than their comrades who have been tooled up to fight in CC. Therfore i thought that any unit that is not defined as having a 'hand weapon' or other CC weapon should require a 6+ to wound in close combat, its very hard to kill something with a shortbow by hitting it. And should also be hit on a 3+. Exeptions could be made for things like handguns, since theyre almost like a club, so they wound on a 5+ and are hit on a 4+ (unless they would normally wound on 6+ for a high T model or be hit on 3+ with a high WS model).
This would then make it an option to give your Goblin Archers hand weapons for +1 pt per model, to avoid being mashed in combat.
I think this rule is quite good what do yuo think??
