				<description><![CDATA[ Sorry if this has been debated before, I couldn't find it.<br /> <br /> Ok.  Let's say we have 2 players (A and B).<br /> Player A has a unit with 2 different kinds of models.  He has one model with I1, and several with I5.<br /> Player B has a unit with 1 kind of model, all with I3.<br /> <br /> Player A assaults.  He gets the first attack with his I5 models.  Let's say he kills X number of models from player B.<br /> Player B then removes all models that are base-to-base contact with player A's I1 model, as well as all models that are base-to-base with player A's I5 models that are within 2" of player A's I1 model.<br /> <br /> The question:  Does player A's I1 model still get to attack or not?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Here is the problem.  A squad is a squad.  I1, I'd assume it's something like a Power fist or something, and then the I3 guys would probably be Necrons or Guard.  I5 strikes first on B's squad.  The guy who controls squad B can remove whatever characters he wants as casualties unless the player in base contact with the I5 guy is an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(67);'>IC</span> that has joined the unit and can be called out seperately.<br /> <br /> It details this in the rulebook.  Anything the I5 guy kills doesn't strike back, it's assumed they are killed before they can strike.  Anything with a higher Initiative strikes before those things with lower.  If they die before their attacks, too bad.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ The question was more about deaths that the I3 guy could take so that the I1 guy couldn't hit. <br /> <br /> I'm also wondering this as well because i would like to do just that.<br /> <br /> If you removed all the models the I1 guy COULD hit.... does it mean he can't? It's about avoiding attacks from the power fist... is there any way to do it other then being wiped out?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ models from anywhere.  You could remove models that did not have a chance to attack but if they are still alive even if there is nobody in base to base with them, they can still attack if they would have been able to at any point in the combat.  If they are dead before they get a chance to strike then clearly they cannot attack back.]]></description>
