For those who haven't come across it, the book is the memoirs of Hans Von Luck who it seemed commanded battallions on most of the German fronts (Poland, Russia, France & Africa) and offers an honest and balanced perspective about what it was like to fight Hitler's war.

Was that the one where the supply truck was accidentally stolen at 10 past 5? I haven’t read Panzer Commander myself but the story was referenced by Stephen Ambrose in his book on Pegasus Bridge.
