				<title>Looking for Wood Elf tactics without woods.</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I just traded for a bunch of wood elf stuff(pretty much everything except birds) and I thought I'd throw this out there to see what people do in this age of vamps, daemons & newer elves.  I'm not looking for any particular lists or anything just interesting combos and tactics that could work even without any woods on the table <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0"> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ nooooo!<br /> <br /> They're all going to laugh at you!!!!<br /> <br /> Actually, on a board that is 100% devoid of terrain it would be all about archers, and light cav,  The light cav uses baitnflee tactics, followed by "get behind em" type tactics to slow the opponent down, and the archers steadily move backwards thair 2.5 inches per turn and shoot the opponents.  80-100 shots per turn is nothing to sneeze at.  Pick a unit and make it dissappear.<br /> <br /> a unit of two of wardancers/dryads to mop up anything that manages to get through the archer line would be the next order of business.<br /> <br /> The more terrain you get the more you need to rely on combat <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span>.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'd say a standard list.<br /> <br /> You will outshoot most enemy archers and a treeman ancient with annoyance of netlings will stop any character cold.<br /> <br /> Just have to be more careful as you can't funnel the opponent.]]></description>

				<title>Looking for Wood Elf tactics without woods.</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Is the ancient really all that great? It hogs up the lord & a rare slot.<br /> <br /> I was looking a lord on a dragon with the 3+ ward for both & hail of doom arrow.  Is that a decent character or does it just suck?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ 1 - yes the ancient is that good.  i think they made it take up a rare space so you couldn´t have 3 treemen in a 2000pt army.<br /> 2 - the wood elf lord on a dragon isn´t that great.<br /> <br /> as for tactics the bait flee would be ok except if it is a bare table you won´t be on a hill so they may get in your way if you are not careful.  you should also always have a woods from the free one you get in pitched battles.<br /> <br /> you would die against skaven no matter what you do in a game like this.  they arguably have greater shooting, your shooting won´t be able to kill enough and you won´t be able to run around the outside of their army (as they can probably span far enough so that there isn´t one)]]></description>
