Stupid Ghazghkull Question.

Does Gazzy have the WAAAGH ability? In other words - does he actually gain Fleet on the turn of the Waagh? I can't believe he wouldn't - what with being the pinnacle of Orkiness, but the Codex only states that he has "Prophet of the Waaagh," (that gives everyone a roll of a "6" to run for the Waagh). I don't see anything hidden in the "Prophet" ability that personally gives Gazzy the Waagh ability. All other characters are explicitly given the ability.

Did I say Waagh enough? Waagh.

Re:Stupid Ghazghkull Question.

I see now that I should have posted this to "You Make Da Call." - sorry.

JD: Gazzy's upgraded Waagh clearly is better than the normal ability for Orks that actually have the Waagh ability - but I do not see that Gaz personally gains Fleet on the turn of the Waagh. If I'm wrong - what page of the Codex makes this clear?

Honestly, if you put this in YMDC, you would have just gotten a bunch of garbage answers telling you his rule does nothing because it mentions fleeting (from 4th edition) instead of running (5th edition). Basically nothing to do with what you were asking.

It's better you posted it here where there seems to actually be some common sense.
Stupid Ghazghkull Question.

I've run both interpretations.

My mates hate it when does apply and he charges and rains liberal beatings on their HQ/Elites/Shiny cool units. he becomes quite a mssive threat in those turns being able to move swiftly, also played that his mega-armour rolls always count as 6s for this otherwise it would seem odd with him rolling a 1 and then moving 6 in the shooty phase.

On the other side however, it just makes Ghaz less usable as a special character without constantly mounting him in a BW. Again with my group they did concede that he lacked the awesome that the Prophet of the Waaagh!!! deserved.
