I wanna paint some larger buildings but I have no idea how to do. I have only normal brushes, no air brush or something else. Did anyone have some good tutorials for buildingpainting or some advices?

Painting terrain is quite unlike painting smaller models, and still a long shot from larger things like tanks. What sorts of building are you working on, exactly? If, for example, you're doing GW's gothic ruins of landing pad, there are various different ways you can approach either. My mainproblem was the Bastion. It was basecoated with a cheap green spray from a hardware store. The conclusion was, that the color looked like watering can plastic and not like a Imperial Fortress.

Now I primed it with Shadow Grey and then I sponged Fortress Grey as second layer.

Here is the WIP-Picture of the Bastion. At the inside of the bolter slits and at the door you can see the old color. But for gaming I think it looks ok.
