What phase of planet strike?


Honestly the hell with it dont go defensive.


How many Daemons do you have?


Marines are Meh in combat he is going to be meltaing your bastions etc.. if he plays vulcan.


Go with Assault its your best chance really ; you can most certainly out assault a Marine force with Chaos.

With him DSing and having to close in on the bastions regardless taking squads of Daemons that are

1. Cheap
2. Negate Thunderhammer
3. Lots of attacks

So yeah

i used a really similar tactic on accident at a magic tournament once. I raided any and all nearby ashtrays, filling my pockets with snipes, (im poor and ciggarettes are'nt cheap, dont judge me lol). Anyway this caused me to reek of ashtray. My opponent was so distracted by my "aroma" that he dropped in our second game for some air,(magic is usually played best 2 out of 3).
