				<title>1k Sons 1000pts. 217 points left. What should be done with them?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Going to get a 1ksons list going as they are something i have always just really liked. Now i have the base of the army down. Which for a 1kson list i assume is pretty basic but not really sure what to do with the points i have left to fill.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span><br /> <br /> Deamon Prince w/ wings and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span> = 150<br /> <br /> Troops<br /> <br /> 1k sons x9 sorcerer w/ doombolt = 254<br /> 1k sons x9 sorcerer w/ doombolt = 254<br /> <br /> Heavy Support<br /> <br /> Vindicator - 125<br /> <br /> total  = 783<br /> <br /> <br /> Now with the points left over I am not all to sure where to go from here. Whats already in the list is gunna stay I am very happy with all that.(however I am also up for changeing/adding/ psychic powers) Its that last 200 odd points that are up in the are that I am well just at a lose with what to do with. I also dont want to take any other troop choices other then more 1ksons as i feel it would stray away from the army more then I am already forced to with my elite/fast attack choices.<br /> <br /> I had the thought of throwing 2 icons on the 1ksons and throw in a squad of lesser deamons. They could jump in where ever the prince is or jump in next to one of the 1ksons if they get into trouble. Since they can assualt after deepstriking.<br /> <br /> I can also see a good squad of termies in there as well with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>Mot</span> of course.<br /> <br /> Whats everyones thoughts? What do you think would be a solid choice?<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ remember... as thousand sons you will be making the enemy go <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(334);'>WTF</span>  A   LOT!<br /> againest my sallies... its like that almost every game... you can do that to that from where? how? oh....gak<br /> <br /> so I would get a different <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> (pref a psyker)<br /> <br /> troops decked out... termies would also be nice and please get rid of that vanquisher... their are so many other better and cheaper options.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ hahah yes I hear that alot. But i have always had great luck with it. Its more of a personel taste when it comes to that thing <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(84);'>lol</span>. I know its not the best but I have gotten attached to it. I was going to attempt to if i had the points left over to give the prince something. Ether warptime or gift of chaos depending on the mission/enemy. Being able to pop up a deamon spawn is always great fun and always ruins the other guys plans. Plus he adds some mobility that the army is lacking. I am not a fan of rhinos since they just scream free kill points(Which i hate that they even are worth kill points in the first place)]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I can see what your saying but like you said its pretty weak on the anti tank. Thats what the prince will help cover. So i think it should stay.<br /> <br /> Im really feelin a squad of lesser deamons would help. It would add in another troop to get objectives as well as be fluffy and add in an element of suprise.<br /> <br /> a squad of 12<br /> <br /> then with the points left over. I could play around with powers for the prince. Depending on what I am going up agianst.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ My sugg. to you is get another <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span> with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(385);'>WoC</span> and add winds to the first one. In 1000 pt. games these guys will take the brunt of the fire and may leave your vindie open to lay some pie plates. The reason i say may is if you are playing <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> they have alot of tanks. ]]></description>

I really think you should drop the squads of 1k sons and make them 2 ten man squads of vanilla <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> with 2x Meltagun, a champ with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(75);'>IoCG</span> and a Rhino. There is no fluff in this either...1k Sons is tough because it's all so expensive.  I know terminators with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(237);'>IoT</span> are pretty tough to take down.  ]]></description>
