				<description><![CDATA[ consider this... if you drop shrike, the vanguard, and the twin linked lascannon off the predator, thats the cost of a second <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> terminator assault squad in a rhino...<br /> <br /> as you already probably have the models to make this list, because the tournament is in a few weeks, I know you can't change that drastically... so here's a few suggestions-<br /> <br /> If your just taking ONE hammer in the vanguard squad, don't bother with vanguard, buy a squad of normal assault marines. A 10 man squad of assault marines, and a hammer on the sergeant, is 220 points... and I guarantee you its more effective than shrike + vanguard.<br /> <br /> The thunderfire cannon is a liability <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span>... too easily killed. 1 lascannon hit is nearly guaranteed to kill it, unless you have it in fortified cover, in which case 3 lascannon hits. its just not worth it. if your looking for anti-horde, swap it + the twin linked lascannon turret on the predator for a vindicator. Much more survivable anti-horde tank there.<br /> <br /> Consider using a jump pack librarian instead of a terminator librarian. you can throw him in with shrike's assault squad... the ability to jump over terrain and let fly with avenger is often a game changer... and he will provide shrike's squad with null zone when it charges, which can be useful against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> terminators. ]]></description>

So I am curious which of your suggestions you would would take. Models are really the issue as much as painting is but I am sure I could hammer it out as needed.<br /> <br /> If I ran two squads of terms in raiders would you run the librarian in one squad and amek the other squad a six man unit? If i switch the thunderfire cannon to a vindicator where would you shave the points?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ The Tri-las Pred is so inefficient. Drop it. Your anti-tank can come from other sources.<br /> <br /> Where are the Land Speeders? The Dakka Preds? Those two are staples of most Marine armies, and will give you a very competitive force for a tourney. <br /> <br /> At 1850, no way is one <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> going to hack it. It'll die halfway there, and then youre hoofing it and getting torrented. No fun :(<br /> <br /> And Vanguard are seriously awful. Anything else, for the love of god.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ A dakka pred is a Pred with the Autocannon and Sponson Hvy bolters.<br /> Dakka meaning shooty, and the Dakka pred is a pred that maximizes the rate of fire.  (if you have points remaining a storm bolter can be thrown in).<br /> <br /> The list:<br /> <br /> Libby: Armor is ok, Null Is cool, I don’t think Avenger is needed on him though.<br /> Shrike: meh.  Nice fleeting Termies and vanguard…not a huge fan of him though…esp. the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(111);'>RAW</span> nightmare involving him.<br /> <br /> Tacticals look ok.<br /> First squad: always take the hvy weapon <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span>.<br /> Only one rhino squad?  I’d say 2 would be minimum for a Raider in the list, 3 would be ideal.<br /> <br /> Assault termies are ok, though I suggest a claw or two.<br /> <br /> Vangaurd: meh. Why not normal assault marines instead?<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>TFC</span>: meh, no scouts to make the most of it, and with the whole army approaching, it may not have decent shots.<br /> <br /> Tri-las: meh, a bit on the pricey side for what you get.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Well, it will be rare when the Libby is with the Ass Termies and he wants to shoot avenger.<br /> <br /> I think Null is all you really need.<br /> <br /> If it was me, I would like Might of Ancients, but with the storm shield he loses the bonus attack....so I'm inclined to gravitate towards Quickening for those random moments in objective games where he sling shots away from the Assault termy posse.<br /> <br /> But, whatever you like really, Null will prob. be used the most.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ The problem is you are shooting one weapon from a squad that only does combat.<br /> So if you are out of range of charge, wouldn't you want to run a bit so the opponent doesn't simply just take a step back to be out of charge range again?<br /> <br /> Worse, if you kill enough for them to fall back you are robbed of a charge.<br /> <br /> And if it does go perils, then you get the wonderful chance of wounding the libby in addition to another wound that instant kills.<br /> <br /> /shrug.<br /> <br /> Gate is an idea....but wouldn't objectives have enemy units on them.... pretty dangerous/risky stuff going on if your last option is to gate+run into 3" of an obj.]]></description>
