I haven't personally made one, but I have seen several good ones. Personally though, I'd just go for a spare Nob's PK or possibly even a deff dread PK. Anywho, I use 2 different dremels for metal removal and a saw. 1 dremel is high powered, to basically take gobs of metal off fast. Then a low speed dremel for detail and getting in closer. Then the saw (a jewelers saw) is great for hacking off arms and heads and such.

There are ALOT of tutorials on dakka on how to build a PK from scratch. I took some from someones thread along time ago. Let me dig them up and Ill post the pics for ya

Basically, you're making a large metal boxing glove, and adding some piston powered claw blades.





I also added a power pack on his back to provide the juice.




Conversely, you can always give him a buzz saw instead of the standard claw shape. With orks you really can't go wrong. Share pics when you get to working on it!
