I have found that the easiest place to steal points from is the Lord/Hero's wargear. That being said you don't want you lord to be a pushover; I would make a lord for each god and see what fits your style.

With WoC your lords tend to be really expensive. An exulted will do most of the job for 1/4 of the points. Try and be sparse with gear.
