				<title>Tyranid Biovores are a lot better now</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ In the other rule set, Tyranid biovores sucked. But, a couple days ago I decided i'd go buy another to pair up with my other one and after it was built, I used the duo. I battled Orks and gave the two biovores toxin mines. S=to opponents toughness <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span> 4. thanks to the 48 in. range, my opponents largest squad went below half strength before they even got near my gaunts. The old rules made it so you had to role to hit, then roll to see where the blast went, then roll to wound. These days, however, all you have to do is role to see how far the blast goes and then role to wound. Spore mines give up <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(316);'>KP</span>'s if they miss.<br /> 2. Taking biovores means taking less carnifexes.<br /> 3. (after all, 48 inches is pretty far for a tyranid ranged weapon) <img src="/s/i/a/5d13fa41280d6fdef786d41bc175d3f6.gif" border="0"><br /> and I have to aggree on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(316);'>KP</span> problem. we'll just have to wait and see what they do to the biovores and sporemines when the new codex comes out.]]></description>
