				<title>Need help with Skaven units , how do i make new units work with old ones?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Ok! for the people confused,  this thread is sort of edited from an old one ,<br /> saves space so i dont have to creat extra threads!<br /> <br /> Of course released Skaven offers tons of new models , i was tempted , yet im having 2nd thoughts now and here is why.<br /> <br /> My previous Skaven army is pretty much composed of nothing but 13 jezzails teams  , 2 warp lightening cannons , 4 warplock engineers that spams warp lightening<br /> and clan rats only for the purpose of fielding rattling guns spam ,  and the rest are expandable tar pit slaves.<br /> <br /> What does the new army book mean?  with the rattling guns NOT auto hitting , it means using <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> 3 , they are only half as effective as before.<br /> But , strictly speaking okok , they are the same ,  but its now just  TWICE as dangerous to fire them since only half of them hit.<br /> <br /> <u>How do i synergize the new units i (might) get?  This is why im asking , so i know if they'll be used at all rather than eye candy ( <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(84);'>lol</span>... unpainted).</u><br /> <br /> Clan Rats - They are acceptable<br /> Storm Vermins - Whats a good size?  what upgrades?<br /> Plague monks + Plague furnace - what do i do with them in my ranged army?<br /> Hell Abomination - Very powerful yes , but does it work with my army?<br /> Doom Wheel - This is the biggest question for me ,  they share rare slot with my warp cannons , and they shoot the NEAREST unit ( mine no doubt )<br /> must i throw some skaven slave to baby sit it?<br /> <br /> Need your expert help!<br /> ]]></description>

Also, I think they can have a magic banner, so the Storm Banner (I think) might be quite good (the one that stops flyers) since flyers would cause you a problem with your many shooters.<br /> <br /> Doom Wheel can not fire on a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>Ld</span>. Test, though his <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>Ld</span> isn't very high <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(70);'>IIRC</span>.  I don't think it should take too long to be nearer the enemies, as long as you deploy it near some slaves I don't think it'll be a problem.<br /> <br /> I'm not too familiar with Skaven, so take my advice with a grain of salt though.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

Storm banner also interferes with your shooters, so only take it in a non shooty pestilens list.<br /> <br /> Basically, I think Skrye went down the toilet.<br /> <br /> Warp lightening cannons, while cool, arent going to do much. If you ever roll the magic '10' for strength, then youve probably waaay overshot your target! may still serve some use on extreme flanks, though.<br /> <br /> All units, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>imo</span>, should start out at 20 strong, to get the max <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>ld</span> possible at game start, just incase theres any terror flyers in the opposing army.<br /> <br /> <br /> Doomwheel is cool. I would send it down a flank, then make a sharp 90 degree turn and whap into the flank of an opposing unit.
