You could of fixed the paint. Unless its completely dried and a solid rock it can be fixed. I brought back some paints I had from when I was 16 (Im 25) and they look better now then they did back then. Just mix some water a LITTLE bit of soap in the water mix. Yeah, some of them weren't solid, but I was about to move and at the time it seemed more a hassle than it would be worth. Alas, they're about seven states and a landfill away now. If it happens again I might think more carefully (and I'll probably not be leaving them unused for so long). They were all the old Citadel screw-top paints, and there were a couple that had dried shut around the lid and I had to open them with two pairs of pliers. That wasn't fun.

Thanks for the idea on the soap!! I've been hearing a lot about using that to help thin out washes too. Interesting idea, even if I'm not entirely sure WHY it's a good idea.
