				<description><![CDATA[ Land Raider Redeemer<br /> Ragnar Blackmane<br /> Ulrik the Slayer<br /> 10 Wolf Guard in power armor with Bolt Pistols and Power Weapons<br /> <br /> so far only 2 units I can think of that even have a chance against this in close combat, Genestealers, and Demonettes. (volume of faster attacks that can ignore power armor) but against those units you have a redeemer who laughs at them while raising the ambient temperature around it to 10000 degrees.<br /> <br /> so, can you think of any unit that can stand up to this charge?<br /> <br /> I know anyone can just wreck the land raider and avoid the unit, but I am not asking for tactics to beat this unit, im asking for something beefier in combat.]]></description>

By the way this unit is incredibly inexpensive when compared to yours.<br /> <br /> <br /> Lelith Hesperax <br /> Wych Dracite with agonizer and drugs<br /> 9 Wychs with weapons <br /> Succubus withagonizer<br /> <br /> Wyches take the reroll hits combat drug.<br /> <br /> so I have 18 attacks at I 6 that hit on a 4+ and are rerollable.  Only wound on a 5 though.<br /> Then I have 3 attacks at I6 that hit on 4+ reroll and are 4+ wound power weapons<br /> Followed by 4 attacks at I7 that hit on a 3+ reroll hits and are 4+ wound power weapons <br /> Finally there is lelith with 4 attacks at I8 that hit on a 3+ reroll hits and are 4+ wound power weapons<br /> <br /> Now when it comes to your unit, every models weapon skill is halved and you lose the bonus attack with for your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(20);'>CCWs</span> do to wych weapons. 				<description><![CDATA[ So you've got 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>'s, a tank and 10 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQ</span>'s....<br /> 13 models - somewhere just over 1000 points Im guessing...<br /> <br /> For the same points - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>Id</span> fight this with:<br /> <br /> A Flyrant with 2x Talons, Impant attack, toxin sacs and +1 IN; <br /> 3 Lictors; <br /> 1 Broodlord (implant attack, toxin sacs) with 5 genestealers (Toxin sacs)<br /> and<br /> 24 genstealers with toxic sacs (6 with feeder tendrils)<br /> <br /> The Flyrant and Lictors get the jump on the Redeemer - the Broodlord and genestealers close the distance.<br /> <br /> Im not sure how good a match up this would be but it would be fun to find out.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Since we are going for insane units with no concept of points in game:<br /> <br /> Skulltaker: Juggernaut - 175<br /> Herald of khorne on juggernaut: might, fury - 140<br /> Herald of khorne on juggernaut: might, fury - 140<br /> Herald of khorne on juggernaut: might, fury - 140<br /> 8 Bloodcrushers of khorne: Fury, icon, instrument - 360<br /> <br /> heralds + skulltaker get 5 S6 attacks on the charge each that ignore saves and have rending.<br /> <br /> The crushers get 28 attacks, all ignore saves.<br /> 1 crusher gets 4 attacks, ignores saves and has rending.<br /> <br /> All models are T5 with 3 wounds and a 3+ 5++ save/s.<br /> <br /> Very cheap unit <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0"><br /> Stupidly strong too.<br /> ]]></description>

The lictors would take a few marines out, but then die a very quick death with only 2 wounds. the Flyrant would just get mauled, Slayers oath lets me reroll hits and wounds against him.<br /> <br /> Statistical averages would lead to the 8 bloodcrushers being wiped out on the charge, without getting to make a single attack. I dont have the stats to skulltaker and heralds on me, but this post actually was not completely ignoring points, otherwise I would have just put up a list like Hollismasons.<br /> <br /> rusty, I dont know if that was meant as some sort of a backwards insult, but I am offended that that is what you pulled from this post. 				<description><![CDATA[ Why assume you get to charge?  A Dark Eldar player can reliably take out a Land Raider before it gets to close.  Many Space Marine lists have the capability to take out a redeemer at range, then slam into the passengers with Assault Terminators (this one might end up with your unit on top anyways).   <br /> <br /> Note- I'm making the assumption that you're trying to figure out if this unit is useful in game.  If not, then I guess your unit is incredibly good at defeating other single units in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> when it gets to charge, ignoring all other factors like cost, shooting, etc.]]></description>

WIth the Furious charge I 5 rending, preferred enemy with Dante all around, your unit is -1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>ws</span> and ballistic skill all around, mephiston steals 1 attack from each of your models, and it packs rending and a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 5 t 5 mehiston and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(74);'>init</span> 6 with his force weapon and using all his powers and said force weapon every player turn. Add in 3 meltas and 3 plasma pistols and jump packs, I jump in from 12 away, fry your land raider then charge in, I don't know if it would win, but is law of averages holds out everyone is going away really hurt. I'm not sure if they would win or not, but it'd be a terrific mess on both sides.<br /> <br /> Alternatively, if you're in your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span>, they simply surround it, pop it with S9 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> hits, and kill off most of your unit by denying them room to disembark.<br /> <br /> And if somehow they end up close enough not to need to run (not very likely), they land a TON of S5 templates on you to strip off your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(486);'>PW</span> Wolf Guard, then charge.
