Id go for plasma rifles. Str6 and rapid fire will down a basilisk with little problems.

I dont know the stats on a Valkyrie tho, but Id imagine broadsides rail guns would blow that thing right out of the sky. Or marker light it and use the skyray missles. Seriously when ever your Tau run into a problem that the normal army cant get through, introduce said problem to the business end of a Broadside.
Youd need a 2 for a glacing hit, and a 3+ for a penetrating hit. Exactly. The broadside can solve all of your high toughness and armored vehicle needs. It even wastes Land Raiders and Leman Russ tanks with the slightest of ease.
