				<description><![CDATA[ I am going to be up against a Nid army in an 1800 point planetstrike game and i still need to build ny army up a bit. The nids I am fighting consist of: A zoanthrope, biovore, two carnifexes, hive tyrant, 64 gaunts, some genestealers and other units I am not sure of. 				<description><![CDATA[ What buildings do you have?  Regardless, I'd add Rhinos for the Crusader squads, and I'd beef up the Assault squad, I'd add another Vindicator or two.  Alternatively, you could give the Crusader squads Land Raider Crusaders and beef them up.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ another vindicator would be lovely.<br /> <br /> you could also try terminators with two assault cannons.  those rending rolls can always come in handy at a distance.  or if you feel a little suicidal like i do you can run two flamers and deep strike them in and light them up.  always fun but be prepared to lose the squad.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(128);'>TMCs</span> are best handled with plasmaguns for mobility and number of shots or lascannons at range. plasmacannons are not worth it against nids <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>imo</span>, best target you'll have will be a tyrant with guard which can be shot by <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>MLs</span> and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(329);'>PGs</span> as well and firing s7 ap2 on gaunts is just a waste (and expensive with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(15);'>BT</span> dex) <br /> Predators are valuable against nids, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span> to get rid of warriors or 4+ stealers or 3 lascan for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MC</span> hunting.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Firstly, your army isn't prepared to face Tyranids at all...in either a standard game or a planetstrike game. You definitely need more men. Your squads are equipped to much like a basic tactical squad. While having those types of units in a Templar army can be useful...ideally, you want them to be more focused on close combat than anything else. You took the vow to beef up the units in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>, take better advantage of that. <br /> <br /> Here are my suggestions:<br /> <br /> • Replace the heavy weapons in your squads with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span>. Yes it only gets 2 attacks on the charge, but you'll get more milage out of it since your squads should be better equipped to slug in out on <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>. <br /> <br /> • If you must field shooty squads, field them as 5 man squads. It will allow you more heavy weapons coverage on the table.<br /> <br /> • Any assault crusader orientated squads should have a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span>. Power weapons are useless vs. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MCs</span>. Vs. the gaunt hordes, weight of attacks is more important so everyone else should have <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(260);'>BP</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(20);'>CCWs</span>. Consider adding some Neophytes to act as meatshields/ cheaper means of allowing you to throw more attacks. <br /> <br /> • Any assault orientated crusader squad should ideally be over 12 models. Get <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRCs</span> if you can.<br /> <br /> • You need to pick a role for your assault marines. In this case, you know your opponent ahead of time, so their role will be more crowd control/ counter assault. I'd field at least an 8 man squad and have 2 flamers in it. Any other upgrades is your choice. I'd definitely stay away from plasma pistols though. Not worth the points. Stormshields are the best upgrade besides meltabombs. 25% of your squad should have Stormshields if you decide to take them. <br /> <br /> • I'd give your Marshal 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>'s and termie honors instead of the storm bolter. Drop the Mantle. Implant attack nids trump your mantle. Better to make your Marshal a killing guy rather than a tough guy. If you have the points take the Halo and Artificer...but <i>only</i> if you have the points. <br /> <br /> • If you have points make your Dread a Venerable, give it a Heavy Flamer, and extra armor. You may consider making it a shooting platform as well. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> is the best load out vs. bugs <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(71);'>IMHO</span>. <br /> <br /> • Assault terminators would be a huge boost to your list. <br /> <br /> Just my .02  ]]></description>

That thing would wound <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MC</span>'s that don't have the reinforced chitin or whatever that biomorph is. Do Black Templars get counter-attack in any way? That would seem useful on your all melee squads that are going to be taking on hordes of gaunts. <br /> <br /> Well that's my random (hopefully worthy) input.]]></description>

I was goung to get a battleforce and some upgrade sprues to reprimand the flaw of lack of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.<br /> <br /> I have found out that my friends have made the game apocalyptic, so i'll be versing Orks and Eldar as well. I will be on a team with some codex marines and some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span>.<br /> <br /> Also, would bikes with power axes be of any use?]]></description>

If you are playing an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(7);'>APOC</span> game, you might as well put them in your list. However, you'd be better served with putting meltaguns in that squad. ]]></description>

I'd consider using the +1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> -1 I vow against nids... because against gaunts, it doubles your chances of wounding them. against stealers, its a wash... against fexes/tyrants, it again doubles your odds of wounding them.<br /> <br /> your base I4... most things that nids have that are good in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> are better I anyway, so that doesn't matter... as for re-roll to hit, it acutally gives your chaplain a purpose... i'd suggest dropping the marshal for a second chappy in fact.<br /> <br /> I'd also throw in a venerable dread with an assault cannon. good against everything. ]]></description>
