				<title>Short Notice, 3 games, Orks 1250</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ OK, so tomorrow I will be playing a number of games.... first against Vulcan mech marines, second against rainbow daemons, and possibly a third against chaos.  Points will be 1250, here is the list I got.  I am pretty confident in it but wanted input on possible tweaks that may be of use.  Note that my group allows deffrolla ramming.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>- Warboss, Mega Armor, Attack Squig, Kombi Skorcha, Cybork Body=130 (low points poor man's Ghazzy)<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>- Big Mek, Kustom Force Field, Grot Oiler=90<br /> <br /> Elite- 14 Kommando's, Snikrot, 2x Burna's=255<br /> Elite- 15 Burna Boyz=225<br /> <br /> Troop- 18 Boyz, Nob Upgrade, Powerklaw, Bosspole=148<br /> Troop- 12 Boyz, Nob Upgrade, Powerklaw, Bosspole=112<br />          Transport- Trukk, Reinforced Ram, Red Paint Job=45<br /> <br /> Heavy- Battlewagon, Deffrolla, Red Paint Job, Boarding Plank, 1x Big Shoota=125<br /> Heavy- Battlewagon, Deffrolla, Red Paint Job, 1x Big Shoota=120<br /> <br /> TOTAL: 1250 on the nose, 62 infantry, 3 vehicles.<br /> <br /> Now I know the number of boyz seems a little low, but I felt the kommando's needed for hitting heavy weapons near the board edge.  The burna boyz will perform the standard ride around tank shocking things into clusters for flame template doom, which will be most important against all the daemonettes I will see in game two that will literally just MULCH my boyz in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.  Since my group allows deffrolla ramming I should be OK controlling enemy transports.  I have the mobility, and I have the cover saves.  I think with proper deployment, strategic movement, and proper assaulting I should be able to win all 3 games.<br /> <br /> The marine player loves <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span>'s, Flamers, Rocket Launchers, small 5 man combat squads and ALOT of razorbacks... and of course Vulkan.  He either plays it static gunline, or embarks and tank dances.  His greatest strength is absolutely his tank moves!<br /> <br /> The daemons player will get enough plague bearers to bog me down, a crap load of daemonettes/ seekers, and then as many daemon princes and greater daemons as he has points left for.<br /> <br /> The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> player will most likely run plague marines, and khorne berzerkers with a landraider and some rhinos.<br /> <br /> Haven't played the second two armies in months as I just took a break from the game.  C&C welcome as always.  I have until about 430pm EST to get it all hammered out.  Thanks again!]]></description>

I'm just starting out with Orks and plan to play Kommandos w/ Snik, and I'm also interested to see if you get away with so few boyz.  Good luck! 				<description><![CDATA[ Note that mega armor makes the warboss take 2 transport seats, so you'll have to drop a boy somewhere if you plan to have him ride. ...or not, I somehow missed the burna wagon entirely.<br /> <br /> The kommandos are solid, but the full squad is an expensive investment. At this point level I might drop a few kommandos or burnas  and maybe even the boyz wagon for more trukks, but that's just personal preference... I'm usually hesitant to weaken squads might not be the best plan. Wagon+Wagon+trukk is pretty solid base to build around.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(274);'>YMMV</span> with red paint, but I'd rather buy the trukk a plank. Especially if the marine player wants to dance his vehicles around.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Looks alright to me, perhaps a burna or power klaw for the big mek so can wreck tanks with the burnas if needed? If the big mek is with the burnas, and they get into assault remember he's a I.C so attacks in combat can be allocated against him, and he has no fancy weapon to fight back with.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

He is there to protect the vehicles til the boys can get stuck in. I've never had luck with kiting meks. ]]></description>

And honestly I am not that worried about scoring units as I don't play my orks to score, I play them to table.<br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> I really wish I could sneak in some koptas too, but I cant find the points.  And due to previous bad experience I try to avoid running less then maximized kommando's or burna boyz.  1250 is just such a hard point total to build for, it's not quite a small total but it's not really a big point total either.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Your list is fine. I've run a similar list many times, usually do well. The lack of troops might hurt if you have trouble tabling, but orks shouldn't worry about intricate battle plans. Stick to what you want to do and make it work. If some pansy commander avoids you for "objectives," bah. Enjoy killing his men anyway.]]></description>
