Tournament Discussion: Mission Order

Another topic I've been thinking on is what order to run missions. You have three to four missions to determine who is the best player of a field of 16 to 32 players. I've noticed that some missions have a tendency to be either binary in nature( you either win a majority of the points or you don't) or allow for a spectrum of results.

In an unseeded tournament, I prefer to have the first mission be binary to separate the player pool to have better pairings in the later two rounds. By better pairings I mean players are matched up with someone in the ability group. The second round should flatten the score distribution more allowing for a final round 1v2 matchup w/ the final round being more binary in nature.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Anyone have anything to say on the topic of mission order in tourneys??
