My current guard army

I want to bring this army up to 1500 pts and are looking for ideas. Im not after a paticular style but would prefer to have a coheisive looking army. IE no artillery because it looks silly if you only have 1 or 2 of it. I have made a removeable conversion for the chimera into a hydra so that could be included.

My original plan was to add a 10 man squad of kaskrins(storm troopers), guardsman Marbo and a hellhound (not sure which variant). At my club most people play chaos marines,space marines or inquistion so Im looking to combat these. Would these 3 be a good choice and what would you change in my current army list. If most play SM and their variants (3+ save kind of thing) take a Banewolf. The bane of MEQ.

Can't go wrong with Marbo. Will almost ALWAYS make his points back.

I don't like Stormtroopers, they cost alot for what they do.
