I'm intrigued, as both appear to made to the same scale (28mm) but there is a huge price difference between the two ranges.

i.e. you can pick up a plastic GW Baneblade for £58.70 but a Forgeworld Baneblade will set you back £150.

Never having seen either in the flesh complete it's hard to tell what the differences are, although I presume, given the Forgeworld branding, it's a far more detailed/solidly-built model.

GW has made a LOT of progress in making detailed plastics and it shows in the Bane Blade in the fact that the resin one is only slightly better. I will admit its there but I had to really look to fined them.
