Figure out a colour scheme for my warpbeasts.
~~Add the final touches to my beastmaster.~~ I'm counting this as 'good enough', the tweeks are only things like doing smoother blending on the dead guardsman on the base. I can be pedantic once the rest of my painting is done.
Find a camera to take photos of my army. <-- Partial. A bit of army photographed, at least.
~~See if I can come up with a better colour scheme for my wyches, especially my currently horrible jetbike riders.~~

Extra credit: finish converting wyches (not going to happen, I need some more bitz and that probably means a box of DE corsairs).

Should be a very busy month:
I have a lot from Christmas/Birthday left over I need to get done:
- Finish painting FW Pre-Heresy Land Raider (just need to do the metallics and detail work)
- Paint 5 Terminators
- Paint Honour Guard
- I also have a Predator, Vindicator, Combat Squad, Attack Bike and some Cities of Death buildings to do, but those aren't as important.

Then, for my Tyranids:
- Assemble and at least start painting FW Scythed Hierodule (can't wait)
- Finish painting at least one Warrior Brood
- Paint 1 Lictor
- Assemble the ton of stuff I've ordered (Hive Tyrant, 2 Tyrant Guard, 2 Zoanthropes, Genestealers, 2 Boxes of Warriors, Broodlord, Raveners, Mawloc). I highly doubt all that will be done by end of the month, but I want to at least get started on it.

I also need to get hold of a camera to take pictures at some point- not that my painting is spectacular or anything.

I've got to put together 2 more Assault Marines (waiting for a few bitz) assemble 4 Drop Pods, and a Predator, once the dozer blade and extra armor kit comes in from FW.

Once thats done, I'll have to paint my entire Space Marine force, including:

-1 Comander
-1 Librarian
-1 Command Squad
-2 Tac Squads (minus 3 marines I have painted)
-1 8 man Assault Squad
-1 8 man Devastator Squad
-2 Scout Squads
-3 Scout Bikes
-1 Land Speeder
-1 Ironclad Dreadnought
-1 Whirlwind
-1 Predator
-5 Drop Pods

That's 50 infantry and 12 vehicles. At least I've got everything that's assembled at Primer Company status at least.

Also, I need to collect a few more kits to complete my army:

-1 Land Speeder
-2 Scout Bikes
-1 Techmarine on Bike
-1 Dreadnought
-1 Tac squad
-2 Drop Pods

I doubt I'll have all of that done by the end of the month. I have my work cut out for me...

I have a bit to do this year.

Finish painting my Gondor Army for War of the Ring.

Collect, Built and Paint my Death Guard Army.

Paint all my Space Hulk Models.

Still i managed to do last years ok, I have now painted all my Warriors of Chaos, Dwarf Blood Bowl Team and build a gaming board in the attic.

Reading your posts is a bit intimidating. I would have to be an insomniac, childless and find myself unemployed to get all that done! Ha Ha! Hmmmm, that is sounding goodright about now as I have to paint to an award winning standard:

All by the end of the month for the Tourney presumably on the 31st (the date hasn't been officially released), and thank fully they all have colour on them (aside from the objectives of course). Ugh! Could use a mental commitment for a bit. think they let you bring minis and paint into the Ward?

I have a fresh new Necrons army list for the Conlict this month. For the GT I'm borrowing the army from a friend but I've already begun modeling my own army. By the end of January I'm hoping to have the Necron Lord and the Deceiver completed along with one full unit (20) of Necron Warriors and some Destroyers/Scarabs.

By the end of the month I want to finish off 5 AOBR nobz, they just need the final shading, highlights and details. They are Goffs so all those checks and dags are going to take the most time.

Needs gun barrels drilled: pretty good sized pile
Needs mold lines trimmed: probably finish tonight
Unassembled: Maybe three or four boxes, probably staying that way. Don't want to do the mold lines.

Oh and I have some Orks I am working on, maybe get them finished and moved to the needs priming stage. Maybe about another couple dozen Orks.

I'm currently working on getting 1000 points of both Eldar and Orks, an ongoing mission, I can tell you.

This month will see me finish up my squad of 10 Dire Avengers and at least have the wave serpent transport under construction (warped resin = fail)
Also planning to finish off the 33 of my 48 orks, most of which have basic colours done.. just a few highlights and details to go, but 33 hurts.

I have an Ork submarine for Apoc I need to finish for a friend. Basic shape is there so it needs armour plates, periscopes, gunz and harpoonz!

The plan is to have a fully painted army on a fully painted table with fully painted scenery! Maybe another 2 months, I reckon...

Too many models to deal with lol.

Last three months it was An entire Eldar Army, ! ork nob 12 boys 12 gretchen(enjoyed painting them) 2 Battle Wagons 10 ABoR Terminators
2 Monoliths 12 scarb swarms 6 Destroyers 3 Drop Pods(Pain in the to build but fun to paint).

Got to complete my Checklist this month for a three day event on the 23rd:
1. Complete 15 Burna Boyz; 2/3rds done
2. Build a Battlewagon; umm... next
3. Scratch build two battlewagons
4. Finish painting Ghazghkull and assemble him properly this time
5. Convert the bitz for mek boys from 4 Burna/Loota boxes into a Big Mek with KFF and Burna
6. Finish painting and reattach wheels + axel to my only Trukk
7. Get/convert a painboy
8. Get 4 PK armed nobs/convert 4 AoBR nobs to have PKs
9. Paint the only PK Nob I have
10. Build a PK + Boss pole nob for my tiny little Trukk Mob
11. Paint, build and konvert 3 killa kans to have grotzookas.
12. Build carry case that can fit in overhead luggage on plane
13. Practice painting flame designs for the Burna Boyz battlewagon
14. Build 3 Deff Rollas that don't look like pissed off bog rolls...
15. Do all this in time to catch flight to Canberra

Doesn't help that I ran out of undercoat spray and still need to source material for most of the conversions.

ANY HELP WITH THESE WILL EARN YOU MY ETERNAL PRAISE AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A SINGLE INDIVIDUAL "REMOVED" WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED AND NO CONNECTING EVIDENCE!!!!

Same for me. I've been planning how to paint and building my Ork horde for some time now. It will be my first completely painted army if I can go at it steadily, and I'm excited to field models that aren't black. Plan is to get 10 Orks done per week starting this weekend (first weekend I've been back in town) and the finished ones look great in their blood axe camo pants (counting the camo the models are 11-13 colors each). If I can maintain this rate (which is about all the time I have to spare between school, work, and social life, not to mention maybe actually playing now and then) then I should be done with my 1k force in about 2 months, my 1850 point force in 4 months, and my 2500 point force in 6 months, plus a few weeks perhaps given the complexity of biker models. In there I'm going to have to work in building/doing some minor conversion work for 6 killa kans and 20 gretchin. Gonna be a busy Spring.

Update: One leman russ to go!

Still need to buy 2 stenitals, dont think its gonna happen in the rest of the month though.

I did manage to finish my vets though, a goal which wasnt on my list originally, so i guess everything works out.

I am actually making pretty good progress. Never primed anything new this month but should have some units finished for the month's end. Bought new knives but forgot to get jeweller's saw blades so assemblies are on hold but the Home Hardware is just down the road.

I assuming this is not a I have x to paint, but a realistic goal. So far in the last week and half I have painted 3 war Walkers, A Falcon, and almost finish (by Friday) a Dire Avenger Squad.

Next will be three more War Walkers, then finish the LR Crusader for the Blood Angels, as well as the 3 squads of Termies.

Ok, I have been very lax at painting, and I need to post here to keep myself going!

January was mostly assembly (and priming due to the thaw that allowed me to sprayprime outdoors), though I did manage to put together a lot:

Skorne: battlebox, pMorghoul, eMorghoul, Agonizer, Paingiver Beast Handlers, Paingiver Bloodrunners, Paingiver Master Tormentor, Titan Bronzeback
Cryx: Darragh Wrathe, Cankerworm, Tartarus
Tyranids: Trygon, 6 Warriors (3 with ST/RC + poison, 1 ST/VC, 2 ST/DS)

The Trygon was awesome to assemble, his tail and torso joints are very easy to match up and actually provide support for the weight of the thing.

The Skorne models though...yeesh. I still have to do some micropinning to attach a hand onto each Morghoul. The Titans had such huge gaps that I resorted to big wads of greenstuff to cement them together, rather than glue. And trying to get the four-piece torso+arm+arm+sword of each of the Cyclops Savages glued together all at once (since glueing one in a slightly off position would prevent everything else from matching up) was a righteous pain. Especially since I had the wrong sword on the wrong arms the first time around (both Cyclops were in the battlebox, so parts from both were all mixed up in there). Darragh (dismounted) had a similar positioning issues with his two separate arms and scythe.

Painting: Figured out my scheme for the Daughters of the Flame finally, and put most of the base colours on.

I really want to start painting up my Tyranids, but I need to clear my painting desk first. So I need to:
1) Finish the base colours on the Daughters, then highlight them, pSeverius, Vassal, Reclaimer solo.
2) Finish base colours and highlight 7 Imperial Guardsmen that I started before Xmas

Conversions to do:
1) Finish properly magneting the VCs and STs for two Carnifexes
2) do an arm swap to make a left-handed VC and left-handed BS for my Harpy conversion (from a Red Terror + plastic Dragon Wings - was originally going to be a Winged Tyrant), and magnet up all the arms. Probably attach some of the extra spikes from the Trygon sprues to the Terror's head or torso to represent the other Harpy weapon (the Assault 4 spine thing).
3) Make my two spore pods (from two halves of a 5"-diameter dollar-store globe + greenstuff + the tentacle/sphincter and maw bits from two sets of Maccrage sprues).

Should really finish the painting by the end of the month, but I know I'm going to want to do the conversions instead...
