So any tips on how we should build our lists or tactics we should use, espcially Apoc rules. That said if your facing guard maybe have someone with an assualty army flank march, dosen't work in my group of people I play with as we've banned that one (a little overpowered). You could also take vital objectives which will force them to attack you. SM - Take an inquisitor Lord with Mystics and a hood, if he has room a second (elite) inquisitor with mystics. Redeemers tend to work quite nicely since you can have them flaming turn 1.
Ork - Battle wagons and as many boys as you can muster.
Tau - Lots of rail guns pop the enemy's vehicles
CSM - Defilers and lots of CC (i.e. Berserkers in rhinos)

And just play to each armies strengths.
